Howdy Ho Ho! The word is out; this winter we will hit The Netherlands for some almighty Christmas shows. During the ‘a Hillbilly Christmas with The Hillbilly Moonshiners’ tour, your favorite rednecks will perform the best and most famous Christmas songs ever written, drenched through some Louisiana swamp water. This tour – which will be announced somewhere next week – will end at Muziekcentrum de Bosuil in Weert, where the band will perform in a special XXL formation.
The Hillbilly Moonshiner’s XXL show in Muziekcentrum de Bosuil, Weert
On the 27th of December, The Hillbilly Moonshiners Bluegrass Band will perform during a special Christmas festival in Muziekcentrum de Bosuil. For this occasion, the band has invited special guest from all over the globe. The acts that are confirmed are American singer songwriter Gayle Skidmore and the Dutch bands Skyway Avenue and The Oaken Towels. Apart from these bands, several special guests such as Otto Tuasuun and Roland Camp will be present during this show to join the band for some bluegrass Christmas songs. More artists will be announced during the upcoming months.
Christmas EP
Apart from the six shows, the band will also release a special Christmas CD, to be released early December – for which the band collaborated with Tarso Miller, Skyway Avenue’s Rita Naus, Otto Tuasuun, The Oaken Towels and Stefan den Ouden. The CD features three exclusive Hillbilly Christmas versions of ‘Jingle Bells’, ‘Rudolph the Redneck Reindeer’ and ‘Fairytale of New York’.
Early bird tickets
Ticket sales for the special XXL show in Muziekcentrum de Bosuil will start on the 1th of October and can be bought via this link. If you order your tickets before the 20th of October, you will receive a special early bird ticket for € 4,00. After the 20th of October, tickets will be € 5,00.
